My first day as a club pilot

After finishing my training with John Barratt of South downs Hang gliding the day before it was finally time to go out on my own. I turned up on the hill by myself at around 8am and rigged up my wills wing eagle 164- by the time i had rigged Nicos turned up and helped me take off. It was a tiring day as i couldn't keep my feet on the ground for longer than 10 minutes, i made a total of 7 flights, with 6 hours airtime and a height gain of 879ftato. I was loving every second of this incredible sport, and all those days training had finally paid off...

I ended up taking as much time off work as possible that week and passed my 10 hours airtime to remove my red ribbon...
